We are looking for a new member of staff to join our fitness team. Working with state of the art fitness equipment you will be responsible to the General manager for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the gym with particular focus on customer care. Although working as part of a small team you must be capable of working alone on the gym floor displaying communication skills energy and initiative. Ideally you will be a level three advanced fitness instructor with an additional first aid qualification.

The position also includes:

• Induction/Assessment for New Members
• Exercise programme setting and renewing
• Exercise equipment maintenance
• General Gym maintenance
• Going above and beyond the job description providing an excellent service to members
• Occasional golf reception and refreshment bar cover

You, as an ideal candidate, will be flexible and adaptable in accordance with a shift pattern. Shifts begin at 7.00 am and can finish at 9.00pm. Weekend working will be required.

Administration skills would be an advantage as weekly and monthly reports on gym usage will be required.

Salary – Negotiable depending on qualifications
